A good wireless network will have in average 1000 dropped calls per cell/sector each month. Can these be eliminated?
Most of these dropped calls are sporadic, and can't be eliminated in economical ways, without having antenna in almost every building. However, there are thousands of them in every BSC that are caused by a few non-optimized network parameters. For example – 50% of the 1000 drops per sector can be caused by a single reason, but cell/sector statistics will not reveal it. Few test drives will also rarely differentiate between sporadic and repeating problems, and many times will not even experience the problem since they use different type of equipment than subscribers do.

NetEyes utilizes its pattern matching analysis over cellular signaling data to find clusters of similar problematic events on the roads. These clusters are sorted according to their size and significance, and each cluster is analyzed to detect its location and the major cause/s for that problem. This enables the operator to decide on the required changes and implement them, utilizing standard tools such as prediction tool and test drives (when needed). NetEyes then monitors the network to verify that the clusters were eliminated and no new problem occurred. If needed, fine-tuning is conducted and performance is validated again.
